I have tried it at home, I have tried it at the salon, I have gone darker and lighter... but it always breaks off and falls out. I even tried Aveda, supposedly it was a non-chemical processor.
I would like to cover some grey, Any suggestions?

Have you tried semi-permanent? This colour doesn't use peroxide and only deposits colour, so it doesn't cause any hair damage on normal hair. You might also want to try an even more temporary colour, like the "colorlift" or whatever they're called, that come in the little boxes and only last about 10 shampoos. These would not damage hair! Manic Panic is like that too and does come in some natural colours.
I'd not recommend using Henna as you can't combine it with any other haircolouring products, and it's been known to turn funny colours and such things... It sounds kind of sketchy in any case.

Do You Know Why It's Breaking Off And Falling Out!? Just Coloring Your Hair Should NOT Do This Unless, Your Hair Is Already Weak And/Or Damaged. Or You Take Certain Types Of Medications Or Have A Hormonal Or Glandular Condition. If You Just Want To Cover Gray, Why Not Try Semi/Demi Permanent Dyes - CLIAROL® Loving Careâ¢( No-Ammonia OR Peroxide) Or Natural Instinctsâ¢, L'Oreal® CASTING® Color-Spa⢠(Both Are No-Ammonia And LOW Peroxide)There Are Prfessional Brands Too, Check The Local Beauty Supply. Good-Luck! (P.S. Use Of "Hair Color Restorers" Or Mineral "Build-Up" From The Water Supply Can Also Cause Problems)

well u would first have to wait a while before dying it again. ive heard that if u dye it ALOT like u ur hair will fall out and break. so i suggest just letting the gray show for awhile like 2 months and then dye it again. u might even have to wait a little longer but i dont know exactly.
good luck and i hope i helped :)

I dye my hair pretty frequently, most recently I went blonde from dark brown hair, but my hair remains in good condition.I use Pantene daily to wash and condition my hair, and deep condition once a week. It is a good idea to get regular trims at the hairdresser to remove dead ends also. Also try purchasing a hair brush that does not have bristles that will damage and rip your hair out.Good Luck!!!!Kat

Try sun in. I tried it to bring out the "natural highlights" in my hair and sprayed it on a few times and it changed my hair color. But it seems to be gentle. But also with that your going to want to wait until your last dye is old enough so the colors won't mix.

you might want to stop dying your hair for once and second you may want to try a natural hair dye from health food and vitamin stores since your hair is damaged or your reacting with the chemicals or ingrediants in the dye

I think you should give your hair a break so you can take good care of it and make it strong and healthy then you can dye it and it wont fall out because it wont be as damaged.Stress can also be a cause of your hair fall out.

NO!!... it will damage your hair even more. Have a proffesional cut it and apply a deep conditioning on it. Wait around 4 months. It will stop falling.

have you tried using henna.I used it before and it has no chemicals what so ever.you can put it not only on your hair but all over other places. The chemicals dont react with your hair to well.for your natural hair you need natural dye.

My sister had a friend who had such fine hair, that she couldn't dye it anymore, so they used somesort of colored conditioner, which dyed her hair, but it wasn't harsh like regular hair dye. You might want to inquire about that.
Good luck.
