Instead of gving the food to the dog, hold the food where the dog can see and smell it so she knows that you control the food. If the dog growls pull the food away and don't feed them. Continue this method everyday! Once the dog learns you control the food and no longer growls when you place the dish down, start to take the dish away during mid meal, hold it where the dog can see it then place back down.

First make her work for her food (working up to a 2-5 minute down stay is a good idea...but start with just like a 5 second stay at first...work up to it over several weeks) and then feed her in the crate in a quiet location with a leash on and shut the door. When 10 minutes goes by (plenty of time to eat), open the crate door and let the dog out. If it continues to want to stay or hasn't eaten the whole portion, use the leash to pull the dog out and then pick up the bowl until the next meal. If the dog breaks the stay or growls, the food bowl goes up without a word. It's part of the Nothing In Life Is Free strategy and the dog quickly learns it must work for its food and growling or posturing gets it nowhere.

Take the bowl away, and feed the dog only out of your hand for a few days. When the dog has accepted this routine, put the bowl back, and just put in a little food at a time from your hand as the dog eats. As the dog eats, add treats that the dog particularly likes. This way the dog will slowly come to associate human hands with getting food and treats rather than with possibility of the bowl being taken away.

It's nature's way, survival.
That having been said, I would play with the dag using the dish. Make it a toy and maybe it's take the edge off.

you can try to take the food dish away after eating telling her that your in charge of her dish and not her. But i think its who touches the dish that bothers her. If your out of options ask a trainer.

YOU NEED TO CONTACT YOUR VET. DOGS THAT ARENT AGGRESSIVE AND BECOME THAT WAY FOR NO REASON TEND TO HAVE AN UNDERLYING MEDICAL PROBLEM. IF YOUR DOG HASNT EVER BEEN ABUSED THEN YOU NEED TO CALL THE VET AND A PROFESSIONAL TRAINER.
