We have been dating for a year and 2 months. Im just not in love with him, I am 14, and he is 16. He is toooooo clingy. Also we go to the same school, and it hard to see him. So really how do I break up with someone who goes to my school?

P.S.
How do you get him to still be your friend after the break up?

You are only 14! You're still too young to feel what love actually is! You have to be straight up with him and tell him how you feel. That's really the only real way you can do it. But let him know that you still want to be friends. Let him also know that you guys had fun times together and that you will always luv him as a friend. And if he doesn't really want to hear it, leave him be for a while. Go back to him after a few weeks so that he knows you still care. Good luck!

Breaking up is hard to do; and never a right time. Pick a time away from school. Go to a public place: park, beach, McDonald, etc. and be honest with him, and don't ask can we still be friends. You are to young to be so serious. 14 years old how many bf and gf before you have the right one. Finish your education, travel, grow-up with your age do no rush your youth and your body is still growing. Be wise!

Well i'd suggest you tell him why you REALLY wanna break up with him...instead of making something up....cuz believe me girls have made stuff up and the guy WILL find out...i know from experience...and chances are you wont still be friends RIGHT AFTER the break up...but if he really likes you then over time you'll become closer again but you'll know when to not let it go too far...

"Meamz" no that won't work that would really hurt the person, and for guys after break-up there is no FRIENDS.

Anyways, I believe the best way is to make yourself bad. Make him want to break up with you. Act stupid, don't do the usual, don't call .. don't be yourself (Im sure he loves you being yourself).. So be someone worse..

Eventually, he will lose interest in this new you.

& he wont be as sad as you expected =)

ouch. getting him to be your friend after, isnt that easy, as most time its their ego that gets hurt. keep in mind the biggest barrier in any relationship between a man and and a woman is his ego. what you should do, is tell him face to face. via phone or sms wont do it as that shows only cowardice. go tell him, be nice to him, and just explain that your feelings have changed, and its not fair on him. no matter what happens, letting go is always hard. keep your head up and if he doesnt take it too well, just be patient and civil. atleast you ll know that you were honest. good luck!

I had the same problem. I was 15 and he was 17. Same school and all. Just sit him down and tell him exactly how your feeling. After the breakup, give him his space untill he feels ready to talk to you.

Just tell him you need some time to yourself, and at this moment you're not ready to be in a serious relationship.
