Supply a nest box and nesting material. Nature will take care of the rest.

It sounds like your cockatiels are too young and don't know what to do with the eggs. As they mature, they will naturally know to sit on them when they are laid. Mating pairs should have a cockatiel nesting box with soft nesting material. It should be placed in a corner of the cage that is away from direct light and the cage should be in a quiet place.

If they are not sitting on the eggs, most likely they are not viable and will not hatch. In order for eggs to hatch, they need to be kept warm. When they are not kept warm, the chicks are not viable. Sometimes the Mom will toss the eggs out of her cage. This is also an indication that she is not mature enough. Give her a couple of years and then if you still want a clutch, try then. Don't rush things if she isn't ready.

Do nothing.

The clutch is not complete so they will not sit.

Please, for the sake of your birds, do the following:

1. Go to the vet and learn how to handfeed.

2. Make sure that there is pleanty of food (not just seeds or pellets, but fresh foods too), and water to drink and bathe.

3. If the eggs are not in a nestbox, get them in one!!!!

4. Start finding homes for any chicks that hatch.

5. GO BUY A BOOK THAT EXPLAINS COCKATIEL BREEDING.

6. After they raise this clutch, don't let them breed again. There are too many unwanted cockatiels out there in rescue organizations as it is.

7. Make sure your hen has pleanty of calcium in her diet or she could become eggbound and die.

Please, email me if you have other questions.
