The only "sin" is to harm others unnecessarily. Since video games are not real, then no.

Most of what people call "sins" are just common sense rules for living peacefully with other members of society. Keep it simple. If you're not hurting anyone or violating someone's rights, you're fine. Ignore the rest.

A question that is asked a lot in places. What about violent movies? A person once said to "What if God walked into the room while you are playing it? Would you hide it? If so, then it is not right"

Of course, you schmuck. No, you gotta stop
thinking that way. Some people believe if
you make a steady diet of those, that you
might become a killer. It has nothing to
do with the sin concept. Come on, man.

Hey, when does CSI come on tonite or
will the games screw over everybody who
doesn't watch basketball?

There are basically two forms of Christianity, I think. One form goes by a long list of do's and don'ts, so its members can be reassured by checking the list and seeing if they have avoided the don'ts to some extent.
The other form goes by gratitude to Jesus for having saved them, and given them new life, and they walk in that new life by the power of the Holy Spirit, also called the Spirit of Christ.
The first form goes by "law" and we call them legalists. The second goes by grace. If you are in the second kind of Christianity, you don't really need an answer to that question.

it definitely is not honoring to our creator who has a most awesome respect for life. he sent his son to die for our sins and save us from this violent and twisted world that has come to be on earth ever since Satan rebelled and induced Adam and Eve to join him in this independence-from-God attitude that is prevailing around us.

It is not my place to judge that...here is what the Bible says, you judge yourself....

Isa 33:15 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
