I think that my cat might be pregnant, her nipples are raised, and her belly seems to be growing, I don't now if she has even gone into her first heat or not, I thought that she would bleed like my dog does, but I have heard that isn't the case with cats.

Litter size varies considerably. Four to five is the average domestic litter size. The record is held by a four-year-old Burmese named Tarawood Antigone who, after breeding with a half-Siamese, produced a litter of 19 kittens, 15 of which survived. Another impressive litter was born to a Persian female named Bluebell, who gave birth to 14 kittens, all of which survived.

I'd say 4 to 6 babies is normal. I just had babies today. She had 4. I told her that she could only have 3, but she didn't listen. I've seen many cats have kittens and the minimum that I've seen is four. That's a typical number, but I've seen a few have six.

In my personal experience they've never had more than six, but it does happen. my dog had 9 twice.

Four to six is the usual range, but more, less, or even only one isn't impossible. A couple of days ago on The Daily Kitten I saw a photo of a litter of NINE six-week-old Siamese furbabies!! Awwww ... :-)

Litters range from 3 to 5 on average. But sometimes they have more, and sometimes less. You never really know until it happens!

cats are cleaning machines you probably wouldn't notice anything other than behavior. They crouch down and raise their rear end and purr differently.ready to mate.
4 is the usual number.
