I love the way my hair looks straight and I straighten it everyday when I'm going out. I use a Chi ceramic straightening iron, and it really works. The only problem is that I hate how dry my hair looks! I look at other girls hair and they say they use irons, yet their hair is so shiny, swishy and not dry-looking at all. I'm really wondering what their secret is to beautiful hair. I use conditioner and an Italian shampoo with olive oil and it's gotten a little better, but not by much. What else can I do--any kinds of products, etc to make my hair look mosturized and healthy?

You are not probably getting the dead ends cut of which makes your hair dry and crispy. When you go get your hair cut tell the person you want the dead ends cut.

I just had my hair cut and it's pretty wavy..They told me along with the Chi iron to use a straightening serum by Paul Mitchell..It's about $17 per bottle but worth it!

Get your dead ends cutten off then get the Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Time Renewal Refining Mask. It leaves your hair smooth and restored while shielding it from damage. Plus it quenches your dry hair. Also when straightening it you can use Paul Mitchell Serum!

Try some hair masks. That sounds weird but it will infuse moisture into your hair. Or you could try spraying your hair before with a serum made to prevent dry hair. Look in your local pharmacies and there should be a dozen selections

use a heat protectant like one from VO5 it works great and all you do it spray it on your hair before you blow dry and before you straiten it and it protects your hair from the heat! Also, try not to straiten it everyday. maybe like on weekends or times you wont see anyone you care about looking good in front of let your hair dry o it's own and dont process it that day. hope this helps!

Maybe you need to have your hair trimmed more often. Ask the girls with shinny hair what products they use.
