I went to a work party w/my bf last night...most of his co-workers are male and single...I was one of about five women there...well, by the time we showed up everyone was pretty intoxicated...anyway, I thought I did a pretty good job socializing considering the fact that most people were not sober...after the party he commented to me that I was slouching and basically didn't look confident...I don't get it...
any ideas about his intent w/telling me this?

I'm wondering is he your boyfriend or your father?
His intent is that he is somewhat of a control freak. Be careful how far you allow this to happen or you may find you have no freedom of self expression

you need to ask him that question. I don't quite get it, instead of watching and observing your every move at the party, he should have been getting a life!!! Tell him you didn't know that you were being graded, you are not in school, nor is he your father or guardian. What's his problem??
