I am only able to see the Buddhist Theravadan Teacher, once a month, and go to Insight Meditation classes every two weeks only.

I greatly appreciate the correspondense we have together. Have learned a lot from all of you, especially Anger Eating Demon, Gaz, Vinslave, NHBaratone, and a few others.

Read alot on my own, and practice insight meditation an hour a day, and loving-kindness meditation 20 min. a day.
Probably need to put much more time, and skillful {right) effort into it, but time is often short. Work 40 - 60 hrs. a week as an R.N., go to college taking some classes toward master's degree, am married to a wonderful wife, and two wonderful children.
You understand, most of you might have similiar lives, maybe running your own businesses, hobbies, or studying/traveling frequently (to maybe become a Buddhist monk or Buddhist nun someday [I highly respect this], etc.

Anyway, just wanted to say Thank You.

From a new {one yr) Student of Buddhism.

With Metta.

Your happiness is enough. I am humbled by your appreciation of my poor efforts. You are truly one of the Noble Beings, one of the eight.

May your awakening awareness be a light on the Path for others to follow.

Peace my friend from a Buddhist.

exciting. this sort of question has been exercising me those days besides. i've got no longer extremely have been given it appeared after in my concepts yet yet indexed under are a pair of concepts. various learn have shown that the extra people sitting in meditation in an area, the fewer crime there will be in that area. Our accountability is that that's stable in front of our noses. touching directly to ourselves with suffering approximately which we are in a position to do no longer something upsets us and actually will strengthen the full volume of human suffering in the international. in basic terms how does a Buddhist stay in the rule of thumb of regulation if that regulation helps a distinctive ethic? there's a great line between the cosmic understanding this poem can deliver and the laziness which it might additionally motivate ; 'Sitting quietly, doing no longer something, Spring comes, and the grass grows by itself.' i'm afraid what i've got written right here jogs my memory of the track 'There are extra questions than solutions'.
