Guys have different perspectives when it comes to what they need in a girl.
I myself have many priorities than looks like
Personality
Kindness - Passion - Affection
Open minded
Independence
Faith [in god and in life relating stuff]
These are really important things to me.
P.S: the guy who says it's kindda true to marry a woman like your mother.. you marry a woman like your mother later you remember you hated your mother ;)

The old saying is, "A man will marry the girl who reminds him of his mother."
Although this is true to some extent, it is not all encompassing. It also depends on the guy and what he is looking for.
I for one wanted the following (Even if it was a dream):
1. Beautiful
2. Great Personality
3. Good Cook
4. Clean Freak
5. Passionate Lover
6. Has a sense of humor
7. Laughs a lot
8. Independent
9. Loving
10. Forgiving
11. Has a job
12. Encouraging and supportive
These are what I was looking for, however, my wife only fits a couple of these. You will find that each guy is unique. Because each guy is unique, his wants and desires will be similar in certain areas but different in others. If you have a guy in mind, I would suggest becoming his friend at first and learn all you can about him, once you compare yourself with his wants and desires, you will know if you fit into his mold of what he is looking for.

A good personality, nice sense of humor, fun to be with and someone that shares some common interests. Looks are nice, but if she has the personality of a pet rock or just a mean, bitter hag all the looks in the world won't help.

As far as I can say for myself (and pretty sure that I'm not the only one), I look to she if she's worth keeping around. I look for hinds to see if she's likely to cheat on me, if I can talk to her about serious problems and she'd actually care. Things like that are looked at but we just don't tell women that. I could get hurt for the info I just gave you...you owe me :).

Similar interests to the guy, guys like nurturing personalities, someone warm, someone who can relate to them, and not a nagger or insecure.

He looks for someone who will make him feel great about himself, and make him feel lucky to be with the girl. A girl who can make anyone feel great about themselves, and make people happy is always attractive

A guy likes a chase, let him work for you, he will appreciate you more. and try not to be too aggressive, thats a turn off for men.

i like personality, great humor, dosnt cuss (or just barely cusses) barely make sexual comments, is a nice girl, willing to talk to me about anything, willing to try anything once, and has a hint of dominance
