I am a 20-year-old university student. I talk with a lot of guys and have a lot of male friends, though none of them could be considered close friends. They always seem to go out of their way to talk to me but never ask me out. They'll compliment my outfit, or the points I make in class but end up asking out other girls. I'm a fairly smart, and attractive, have a nice figure and wear flattering (and, I admit, occasionally revealing) clothes and always try and look my best. I'm pretty confident and occasionally flirtatious with guys. It makes me wonder what I'm doing wrong when other girls get dates and find boyfriends and I don't. It's not like I'm sitting around weeping, waiting for some Prince Charming to show up or anything but I'd kind of like to know

Well maybe your just so super fine that they feel that they can never get with a super model like you. Don't worry I'm sure a guy will get the guts to step up and ask you out. You seem really sweet and smart so that should be no worries.

P.S

Call me up when you turn 21 ;)

We'd need to know a lot more about you. From what you said you look like date able material...so there must be something else your not telling.

Otherwise...you fall into the friend trap. Once a guy is friends with you, they often don't go back. You are no long a woman to them...just a pal. Also, having lots of guy friends is a big turn off. most guys will think you are or have slept around with them. And even if you don't, they still have access to you...and lot of guys don't like to share with they guy friend(take this from a guy friend).

You might also be a bit cold. Just going by your description of yourself...note you listed nothing about your personality. You might come off and an uninterested bore.

Or you could be too picky

They may be afraid to ask. You are very confident and they may not be. You are going to have to be the one to make a move. Ask the one you like best to help you study for a test or ask him to meet you at a coffee shop to discuss a problem. See what develops from there.

you're not doing anything wrong - when the right guy comes, there will be a sign and you'll know - it's probably not your time yet to have that special guy come into your life. But he will come - just keep doing your thing and i promise he'll come. Prince Charming doesn't come when you want him to, he'll surprise you when you least expect it ;)

Guys would enjoy it if you ask them out...this is not the 1950s. Sometimes guys get intimidated. In your situation without more info its hard to know.

well...i think they might be afraid to approach u in "that way".
maybe they think ur out of their league and fear of rejection. i think this may be one of the possibilities.
