Why arent atheists and evolutionists all vegetarians ? If you believe we are animals and monkey children then you might be eating your distant cousins when you stop by McDonalds for a burger. That grilled fish could be your grandmom maybe ? BUT...I guess if there is no God then thats OK 2 maybe ? Hmmmmmmmmm ?

Well, actually, I am a vegetarian.

Because to me all life is precious. Not just some jumped up apes that have learnt to talk and read books.

And yes, I do think we are all interconnected. But it's more to do with ethics and my views of morality than the fact that I am related to all life on Earth.

Does that answer your question?

Live long and prosper.

because if we are all animals, there is a natural order to things. we happen to be the top of the food chain.

we have the teeth to cut and tear flesh, and the digestive system to benifiet form eating meat.
we also have the ability to digest many plants and such.

quite simply we are omnivores. and as long as i have the ability to kill it, i have the right to eat it.

society dictates that we do not eat our own kind, and we have a moral code of ethich that prevents us from killing for entertainment or fun, so humans are the only Taboo Food on the chain that we control.

aaahhh for the simpler times when 2 men went hunting and one returned with meat for the whole village and nobody asked where Okk was at.

you are an idiot, and your question doesn't even deserve a serious answer. but i'll give you one anyway. animals don't believe in god and they eat each other. eating meat has nothing to do with god, except for christians, who believe that animals were put here to serve humans, right? that's logical.

when you're rotting in the ground, thinking about how stupid you were to believe that such a place as "heaven" existed in the after life, think about how your corpse is providing nourishment for grass, which will be eaten by a cow, which will be turned into a philly cheese steak and eaten by someone at the food court. thank you for providing nourishment to someone.

you'll be joking. first of all, i do no longer bash believers. i do no longer see the factor. I want peace. Bashing does not equivalent peace. 2d, the concept of evolution has been shown, it quite is why it is an concept. It has stood as much as rigorous sorting out. it extremely is a competent concept. it is in basic terms no longer clinical fact yet, in spite of what some defective consumers have mentioned on right here. 0.33. Darwin isn't our Jesus. Darwin replaced right into a extra effectual Christian than many of the Christians I see on right here. You bash your guy or woman once you bash him. we are only chuffed that he got here up with a competent concept and supported it nicely with evidence, inspite of the criticisms from others. edit: Whoa! Did the Corinthians guy no longer in basic terms harm character, yet say some thing smart and mature?

Why do Catholics commit cannibalism every Sunday?

Why is it okay to eat certain members of God's creation and not others? Are cows evil or something?

Why are religious fanatics so eager to grasp at any rhetorical straw to support their arguments?

And I resent your implication that my grandmother is a McFish Sandwich. Sure, it might be her favorite item on the menu, but that doesn't mean she's any less human.

Hey there genius, plants share a common ancestor with animals too. We are all part of the web of life, humans are apex predators and omnivores. If we don't eat meat, we get sick and die. If you believe in Creation, you married your cousin, inbreeder. Same difference.
You know, they say Mozart at bedtime increases IQ, might help a bit there deary.

"Evolutionist" is not a word in the sense you're talking about. The "-ist" implies that the person "believes" in evolution. One does not "believe" or "disbelieve" in evolution; one either accepts or ignores its reality.

Again, I ask the Christians: why on earth can't the beliefs of Christianity be reconciled with the reality of evolution?? It's not that hard once you accept the Bible as myth. You accept the works of Homer as myth - why not the Bible?

All of your ranting ignorance aside, I am a vegetarian. I also don't use any products tested on animals (which is harder to do than it sounds). Unlike so many Xians, I actually live by my morals.

~~~dear princess,,,, I am atheist, veggie and evolutionary. You have mistakenly assumed that we all believe we reincarnate into animals. Your ignorance and bias on these various philosophies is illustrated by the way you've ASSumed all these presumptions in error.
We're all animals, you got that much right. The rest is drivel.
Now it's time to go unthaw some beef for dinner.
