Isnt that making your sins an equal with God? Isn't that in reality just worshipping your sins?

"To whom will you compare me or count me equal?
To whom will you liken me that we may be compared?" [Isaiah 46:5 ]

No.

Christ, who had no sin, was made sin for us, and was nailed to the cross to take away sin.

I hear that over and over, that Jesus died for us and took our sins away, but I think that the most important thing here is that right before dying He forgave everyone who hurt Him, humiliated Him and killed Him. This is the most important message and that's what we are supposed to do, forgive those who hurt us, so that we can have no sin. Remember that Jesus transformed ten commandments into two: "Love God upon everything else, and love your neighbor more than you love yourself". Who do you think is the neighbor?? Your enemies. That's the most difficult thing to do, isn't it? But that's the key.

is that making our sins equal with God? It means that no human being or animal's worth was of value enough to take away all the sins. The only alternative was God himself...for He is worthy.

Worshipping sins? No
It isn't the sins on the cross I worship it isn't the cross I worship...it is the one who did it all...once for all..Jesus Christ. It isn't just "faith" I worship, but the object of my faith...the man/God who took away the sins of the law by fulfilling the law in order to replace the life in us that was removed in the Garden of Eden.

First of all, God didn't come down, Jesus did. Second of all, he was sinless but he took or sins onto himself and died. He took the consequences of our sin and was in hell for three days, when he rose agian. He did this so that through him, all those that chose him can be saved and live with Him because of His sacrifice.

To that one girl that i gave a thumbs down too?

Jesus was baptized to set an example showing all that it was a sign. Not because he was born with sin.

Where exactly did He ask God to forgive Him?

Your question doesnt really make sense. God loved the earth thats why he gave his only son to die for our sins. That doesnt make your sins equal to god. It just means that your sins are forgiven by the blood of Jesus.

The opposite is actually true. God is holy. Though he created us to walk and talk with him and to live in his presence, our sin has separated us from him. We cannot reside in the presence of his holiness in our sinful nature.

Through the blood sacrifice of Jesus, God provided the way for us to be reunited to him. Through Jesus we can be holy and live with, walk with, and talk with God.

Though God provided the way for all of us to come back into relationship with him, not all will choose to do so. We only come into that relationship through Jesus. Jesus came to die for your sins too, and you must make your own choice about what to do with the sacrifice that was offered on your behalf.

Blessings.

no jibril
they beleive that the "son of God" was born to die for their sins and not that it was God who died for their sins
can u beleive people actually beleive that because Jesus "died" for me that that is why i was born sin free not because we r innocent at birth and dont know any better but because of a mere human, a prophet it is mind boggling to me

ok, first of all, true christians know that CHRIST WAS NOT WITHOUT SIN...he was baptised b/c he was born with sin...he asked his "father" for forgiveness on more than one occasions b/c he was a sinner...

wow do you think you will get a good answer here when most ppl here claiming to xians do not even know there own religion....

this whole nailing jesus to the cross thing to wipe away ppl's sins is completely illogical for many reasons...if "god" wanted to wipe away ppl's sins he would merely forgive them - not be a conspirator to a homicide...
and jesus willingly went along with this when he had an easy out therefore it is similar to suicide which is supposedly unforgiveable...
