Everything in Mexico comes before just about anything in the U.S. Mexico is in charge of our produce, meat and farm industries. The E-Coli out brakes have been part of negotiations between Mexico and the U.S. The latest E-Coli thing was the Mexican gov. showing the U.S. gov. of the damage they can cause if need be. The U.S. gov. says there's around 15 million illegals in the country when there's actually over 150 million. and that's not counting there offspring.

Because liberal Americans don't have their priorities straight. No foreigners should come before Americans. Some cultures are better off being left alone to fend for themselves or die out (like the starving tribes of Ethiopia).

The US imports a lot of oil from Mexico-and Bush would like that to be more.
This from 2003:
"Thanks to the efforts of the US Congress' "Committee on International Relations," Mexico, from left to right, is up in arms over the increasing belligerence emanating from the empire across its northern border.
On May 8, the committee, controlled by Republicans, voted along party lines to tie reform of US immigration laws with a requirement that Mexico open up its state oil company, Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex) to US corporate investors.
Pemex was created in 1938, after President Lazaro Cardenas nationalized Mexico's petroleum, to the continuing consternation of US oil companies and the continuing celebration of Mexican citizens. The current President, Vicente Fox of the right wing PAN (National Action Party) attempted to privatize Pemex, along with other public properties, early in his administration, but has been forced by public resistance to repeatedly declare that "Pemex is not for sale," and has reiterated it a couple of times since May 8. Apparently not satisfied with Fox's vehemence after the latest incident, Rosario Robles, leader of the leftist Democratic Revolution Party (PRD) told the cowboy-boot-wearing, macho Fox to "hitch up your trousers and defend our petroleum."
Gosh, since that statement, the leftist candidate lost amongst cries and protests of voter fraud and it looks like the elcted conservative candidate is playing ball. It used to be "Follow the money", now it's "Follow the oil"

Because poverty in Mexico is WAY larger. Because most poor people in America have ways to get out of their situation without having to emigrate to a different country. Because poverty in Mexico (and America too, sometimes) is largely provoked by American control of foreign industries.

Because the Mexicans actually TRY to work and FIND opportunites, Americans HAVE the opportunities and many just don't take advantage of them. And your question should be more specific. Come before to who?
