I done this a few nights ago and am now mortified,i can`t even go out tonight as i`d have to see the guy at his work and i just can`t face him.He did give me his number and said he really liked me then never appeared at my house when he asked to drop by,so i thought it would be a good idea to phone him and see what happened.
I then text him and apologised yesterday and told him i`d delete his number so it wouldn`t happen again,he said i didn`t have to do that and it was fine and he`s still interested in me and if i`m not interested in him then just let him know.I am interested and text him back today and he hasn`t replied,i dont know if it`s because i didn`t reply to his text last night but my battery went dead!I explained this to him but he`s still not replied. What do i do now?Just wait and see what happens?help appreciated!!

Leave it alone, if hes really interested he cant just stop talking to you. I wouldnt dig yourself deeper it just shows that he has more control over what goes on. Guys dont find girls who show to much interest attractive. Give it some time and see what happens if hes doesnt call or text move on.

First of all you don't know why he didn't meet up. Combined with the fact that you did amde the drunk/late night booty call. I say booty call because it sounds like you really like him and trust me you are not the only one who has made those calls after drinking.
But the key here is that you have told him what you needed to say and only thing you can do is wait and not worry about it. You will probably only torment yourself and read too deep into the reason.
The ball is in his court. Sending more messages isn't the answer. And it may appear that you are trying to hard and that you are demanding a response. Remember a text is great but it doesn't show your facial expressions and he may interpret it differently. The last think you want him to think is that you will suffocate him.
He knows how you feel about him and unless you think he is too shy to talk to you, your answer will come soon enough. Remember, you work with the guy.
Goodluck!

Maybe he's just busy right now and hasn't had a chance to respond or his battery could be dead just like yours. I think that everyone that has gotten totally wasted at least once in their life has become a member of "Drunk Dialers Anonymous" so don't feel bad about it. He probably thinks it's more funny than anything. When I first got into college (my wilder days) I'd lock myself in the bathroom and call everyone in my phone and they just talked to me and laughed about it, even to this day they just think it was funny. Just give him a little longer, or text him again with the same message and he'll just think that it resent it by accident and it'll remind him to reply.

i really don't know about this either. one night i drunk dialed a bunch of my friends, and then *apparently* i sent the ones i couldn't get a hold of an urgent text message saying "PLEASE HELP!". needless to say, i got a lot of panicked phone calls the next day from my friends! but on the up side, when they found out i wasn't in any real danger they all thought it was HILARIOUS! they kept replaying the drunken voice mail messages i had left them over and over! hopefully this guy will find your drunk dials funny too.

Well, maybe his battery is dead too. Or maybe he's busy, or has his phone off, or is in a place where it doesn't work. Drunk dialing can be embarassing, but if you don't act like an idiot when you're sober, he'll probably understand.
Did he ask for your number, or did you just get his?

Go out tonight and if you see him tell him the story you told us. If he's genuinely still interested then you could end up having a very good night.
And if he's not then you've nothing to lose, enjoy yourself anyway

This on-and-off liking you will only lead to disaster. if you think he wouldn't text you because you accidentally didn't text him back, then what else will or wont he do? not to make it sound bad, as it may not be this way, but just be careful. I would just see if he can turn his act around. if not, don't sweat it, hes probably not good enough anyways!

Try calling him and inviting him out with you to dinner or a movie or something. If he says no he can't then move on, if he post pones it more than once then move on.....if he goes...then he is still b/f material G/L!!

Oh, NO--to close for comfort. At work do not date anyone on the job. Unprofessional. Let it go. Now! Thank God he is not responding. Warning!
