Using your CD-RW drive, copy blocks of ~500MB of data to a new CD_R and burn sets. If you do not have a DVD, then why not instead off load all the files at once to an external drive and not waste your time copying multiple CDs.

I use a very large portable HD as a backup with my systems (USB 2.0) since it is fast, has high capacity, and in case I want to burn a CD-R from that data, it is merely a matter of drag n drop. Nero seems to work consistently.

Good luck.

sorry, I don't believe it. its a DVD, not CD, must be miss marked somehow. However, in my early days of burning CD's, when I messed things up, I would try to add files over and over without first erasing old ones on CD first, maybe this is happening here.

4.7Gb is the capacity of is single sided, single layer DVD
800Mb would be good for a CD
Looks like you need a DVD drive

4.7 GB is a DVD-ROM, a CD has far less capacity at its most, if you have no DVD drive then that disc is not gonna be usable.
