You should make a chocolate cake for her! Women love deserts and if shoe doesn't like it make it a different flavor. Or you can buy cupcakes of any kind of flavor and flowers and put a note in it. And if it's a lady that you like do the same thing but put a ring in the cupcake on the top where the frosting is and make sure she does not eat it and buy her a teddy bear and if you wanna put a ring in there you can. If the ring is too much it's ok you can buy a mood ring that only costs 3 dollars. You have lots of things you can make so do not worry!

If you have kids, you can make your hands. Get foam stuff from the crafts store and trace your hands on it, cut it out, glue a magnet on the back of it. Put the name and date on the front. Photos are good too, with anything you and your mother did together. a memory thing. A plant is good too, in a cool container. The florist can make up severeal plants for you and set it in a birdhouse box or something like that.

Mothers love gifts from the heart. Pick some flowers for her, or buy some. Make a card out of posterboard or crate paper. Use glue glitter, fabric, etc. make it special from you. This shows she's well worth the time it took to make. Also, you could clean the house or do yard work for her. Maybe wash her car.
