I'm looking for a place to eat good boiled crawfish in the quarter this weekend. I don't want to pay a whole lot... any ideas?

Shame on Joe, I was in New Orleans just last weekend and you would be doing yourself an injustice if you skipped New Orleans for Baton Rouge! The other answers were great, I just wanted to add that oysters are really good right now as well!

Dont take joe j's advice and "settle" for Baton Rouge! Stay out of the ghetto and away from drug dealers and you'll be fine in the city!! The news broadcasters have really given us a hard time. I've lived in New Orleans for 15 years and it is a GREAT place with culture incomparable to anywhere else. And as far as a place to get good crawfish, they are a dime a dozen in the French Quarter. I'd opt for somewhere next to the Mississippi River on Decatur Street for a nice view. (Farmer's market was a good suggestion)
Have a fun weekend!!

Be very carefull, crime is on the increase in New Orleans. I have been there seveal times recently and it is worse than ever, bcause of the hurricane. Unless you really really need to go, I would sugggest Baton Rouge or another place.
