Truthfully speaking these day many people date outside their race and it's cool really. The only ones that still see a problem with it is usually the old school parents and it's not really their fault because their parent were raise in a time where the worl was full of bigitry and racism. Times are so different now but, there are things to consider too. Being that you are from different backgrounds, you must prepare yourself for the cultural differences and believe me they are there. You have to expect them. they are part of you both and that is the part you want them to be able to handle which is most important. Good Luck.

Just ask him out to coffe or lunch. If he says no then he just thinks of you as a friend. Oh, and by the way the fact that he's of a different race should have NOTHING to do with it. The only thing that matters is on the inside. So I say go for it and take a risk! You'll never know if you don't try.

See if he likes the same interests and don't make an issue period. He will be turned off if you bring it up. Just act the way you would with a cute guy of your own race.

personally, i was married to a man of a different race. Things did not work for us, but it does work for many people. Our different races had nothing to do with our split, but our personalities started to clash. Do what your heart tells you, not what others say.

talk about other people that date outside of their race and see what response you get. you can see it in his eyes and expressions if he is open to the idea or turns the conversation to another subject.

You are the only person who can decide who you want to date . If the other person is colored, or from a different nation, and speaks another language it is up to you to decide who to date and not for anybody else to make the decision for you.

If you guys get along well try asking questions pertaining to interracial dating and see what he says. Make sure you keep the questions simple so that he doesn't get the idea that you're interested.

ARE YOU NUTS? just because he's of a different race doesn't mean you can't like him! if it doesn't bother him, and it doesn't completely bother you, go ahead! race doen't matter. if he's your soulmate and you say good-bye because he's a different race, you could be giving up the chance of a lifetime. just think of that.

you are living in a different genaration...I don't know where you are located...perhaps down in the deep south where interacial dating is considered socially unacceptable, nevertheless regardless of your geographic location...dating is dating.....you "seem" open minded and are afraid to date the person bc of what the society might think of you.....hey, date don't let us stop you....good-luck
