Is it right to pretend to forget a girl you like's birthday just because she didn't say anything to you on your birthday, hasn't talked to you, and seems to overall not care anything about you even though you thing she's the greatest girl in the world? And you really know there are other girls but she seems like the one and like she's perfect for you?

You see, we were friends for four months, I made a mistake because I didn't know any better (I told a friend something I shouldn't have and he said something so she got mad at me), we haven't talked for ten months, and the whole time I tried to get over her but I couldn't. I really want to talk to her and try to get her back but it seems easier and better to just forget her. She obviously don't care nothin about me.

Before you say I'm a jerk for the mistake I made, I kept trying to tell her I'm sorry but she still hasn't forgiven me. I just really liked her.

Tell her these things! You sound like a decent guy, and if she sees that after you open up to her then she will forgive you. I dated a guy for six months, and I KNOW that he was my first true, deep love. He broke up with me in January by saying that he needed a week's break to "sort things out". Turns out a week later, on our 6 month anniversary, I called him to see how he was and eventually heard another girls voice on the voicemail. He hurt me badly, and as much as I know I can do better, I am still entirely in love with him. If he felt like how you do, and told me what you want to tell this girl, I would take him back. Of course, the fact that this girl didnt care about your birthday and her holding this grudge really turns it around. But I know where you are coming from with thinking she is perfect for you. Listen to sad songs and tell her how you feel, even if she doesn't feel the same way back.All i can say is good luck!

Maybe she didn't know when your birthday is, and she's too shy to talk to you! It's kind of hard to tell what a girl's thinking. Just give her a little something on her birthday. This at least shows that you still care about her. You could even write her a poem! Don't make it a love poem: make it more like a "friends" poem.

The greatest girl in the world wouldn't ignore your birthday, and not care about you. I wouldn't call a person who seems to overall not care anything about you "perfect" for you. Sorry, you need to see reality - she's not perfect and she's not perfect for you. A girl who actually LIKES you is getting closer to being perfect for you.

Even if shes not interested in you, if you care for her let her know you are thinking about her. Simply wish her a Happy Birthday and you wont have any regrets in the future.

Im sorry to say this, but she may not feel the same way. Even though you may feel that she didn't say it to you, so y would you talk to her on her birthday, but just saying Happy Birthday will make her feel special.
