Sometimes it is. I have three kids and had some bleeding with all three. Sometimes having sex will irritate you down there and cause bleeding when your pregnant. If your concerned about losing the baby, just have your ob doctor check your hcg level, which is the pregnancy hormone. If it's ok, then you shouldn't have nothing to worry about. Just get plenty of rest and take care of yourself, cuz your the only one who can take care of the baby right now. Morning sickness just ain't morning sickness. It happens all day. For some its only in the morning, but it can happen at different times during the day. Since this is your first you probably will feel sick for a while. But it will pass, just hang in there. Good luck with your pregnancy and I hope everything is ok.

Oh my goodness!!!! No it is not normal to bleed!!! Go see a doctor RIGHT AWAY!!!! It could be the onset of hemorrhaging or something else. If you see a doctor, it might mean the difference between yours or your babies health and well being. Please see a doctor and get a professional opinion, RIGHT AWAY!!!! My God, you could be miscarrying. GO!!! You should take care of this situation. You are young and I would hate to think that anything negative during the carrying of this child would affect how you carry your next child or children in the future. Try and make it a good experience.

I would get a second opinion as it could mean that you are having complications, or could be a high risk pregnancy. Take yourself to an emergency room or an urgent care facility. If, in fact, you are having complications (like the fetus is growing outside the womb which causes bleeding), it needs to be checked out immediately as it could be fatal to you.

First of all, GO TO A DOCTOR IMMEDIATLEY. Find out if anything is wrong, because it is not normal to bleed when pregnant, Definatly find out what went wrong, or if the baby has accidentally been aborted (dies while you were pregnant).

Go to the emergency room or back to the dr. They need to do blood tests to determine a certain cell count to find out if it is a tubal or ectopic pregnancy. If you experience any cramping, it could be just that. Regardlees, you need a secon medical opinion from a licensed physician. If the baby is stuck in your fallopean tube, it could kill you.

Morning sickness is just a term used. You don't only get sick in the morning. You are sometimes sick all day. They just say morning sickness because it starts when you wake up, which is usually in the morning. As far as the bleeding is concerned, I don't think that is normal at all. Usually when you bleed when you are pregnant, that means there just might be a problem. Let your boyfriend, mother, father, or whoever know that you are bleeding and that you think you should go to the hospital and get checked out. It could be something serious. You just might lose the baby if just it back and wait for people to respond to this question that you asked. Here is some information as to why bleeding may occur.
I was 8 weeks pregnant exactly. The progression from the first day I saw blood to the day I lost the baby took exactly 6 days. I was experiencing period like cramps maybe 4 or 5 days before I saw blood, I just dismissed as being normal because I thought it could be the forming of the uterus, baby, placenta type deal, but I think if you are experiencing pains, take it easy. Lie in bed and drink lots of fluids from that day on. Anyway, after a couple days of slight period like cramping I saw my first blood. This was on a monday. After I saw the blood I went immediately to er, I guess that wasnt really worth it, I wish I had just called my doctor and went to see him, but it was my first pregnancy and I got a little scared. I guess you only need to worry really bad, is if your blood type is negative. Anyway, at the er they did some routine tests, my cervix was closed and the baby had a heart beat. I was told to go home and take plenty of rest and drink fluids. Wednesday, 2 days later, I went to see my obgyn, and he told me I was bleeding more heavily than regular, meaning I wasnt spotting and I wasnt having like a period but you know its like a light period. But he told me to not worry and 90% of pregnancys will go on. The baby had a heart beat, he did a pap smear, cervix was closed, so I went home. The next night which was thursday, I experienced the same amount of cramping at times getting bad but nothing I couldnt handle. It was like a bad period cramp, and I had two clumps of mucus like blood on my pad. I called my doctor, he said it was ok. So I went on lying on my couch and drinking tons of water to make sure I am hydrated. Friday, went on as normal with pains raning from light to medium. The pains were never nothing I couldnt handle so I thought I was ok, I thought when people miscarryed they had a horrifying pain where they couldnt walk or sit or anything. I never experienced this kind of pain. It was always tolerable.
So saturday passed and the pain was really less, and my bleeding continued as usual. The blood had a horrible smell, not like peroid blood, and was bright red, and when it hit the water it kind of stringed and "danced" in the water, forming strands, it kinds looked like "dna." ok, so saturday went by smoothly with very light pain compared to other days, and I went to bed. This morning, which is sunday, when I awoke, I checked my pad. And realized I lost the baby. I am going to get graphic to explain this section, because I want you to know that I never knew what to expect. So when you have mucusy blood dont be so worried, thats not the baby, its still in you, but when you lose the baby, its the consistency of a boiled egg, the size and the shape is, but its bloody. Its firm to the touch.
I am really sorry for everyone who has to go through this, and writing this is a biut theraputic for me as I am still trying to pass the shock that I lost my baby this morning. But when I checked this site, I saw that no one came back to write their experience and I wanted to, no matter what my outcoome was.

There are several reasons to have bleeding in early pregnancy. Early bleeding, such as you described starting four weeks after your last perid, could be a miscarriage or evidence of a "blighted ovum" (sponatneous abortion). You can also have some bleeding due to a "subchorionic hematoma" which is a sequestration of blood in the folds of the developing placenta. A subchorionic bleed usually will nto cause any ill effects with the pregnancy or the baby, but can be frustrating due to constant bleeding until around 15 weeks gestation.

You need to be examined by a physician. You could have serious pregnancy problems such as placenta previa or threatened abortion. Go to the doctor and dont wait. Tell him. It is very important.
