There are plenty of Jewish posters on here and plenty of questions about Judaism.
What business of yours is it that people want to discuss (their) religious beliefs in a RELIGION AND SPIRITUALITY forum?

Why not? People are asking questions pertaining to religion, therefore it's relevant. When I ask a question in this particular forum and I get a profound or interesting answer, I'd like to know what religion it came from so I can learn more about it. I'm not religious myself, but I have no quarrel with people advocating their beliefs. I think it's only a sign of insecurity when people feel they have to be insulting and denounce other people's beliefs in defence of their own.

i do not post my beliefs unless asked what they are, or if it is relevant to the question.
as for why i am here in the first place.
let us just say that as part of my beliefs i study other religions. and i feel that the layman's point of view is what makes the overall attitude of the religion. so to talk to and read questions and answers from other people of other religions is a learning process to me.
the added benifit of being able to help out some people that are following a path similar to mine is nice too.

Yes, of course, why would anyone post religious beliefs in the R&S section. How rude.

I think it has to do with fear and Christians feeling their rights are being compromised (no prayer in school, for example). I do not feel an affirmation of faith makes one a great Christian. I think the Christian thing to do is to be accepting of people of all faiths

The majority of people here are DEFENDING their beliefs. Jewish people should know all about this too or do you deny this?

We are not doing that ,this category is for questions and answers about all the different religions there are.
Jews I suppose have no need to tell other about exactly what it is they believe, is that because you are all born into it?

I agree..and I also don't like it when people shove their religious beliefs on other people..ya know? I think that people should only answer the questions and not say that everyone else is wrong and what not.. ya know?
