and I want one of two dolphins the touch nose-to-nose and tail-to-tail to make it a heart on my lower back. this one will also be done in settly-blue with gray and water in the background that I want to look almost faded. what do you think? any suggestions on how i can make them better? Thanks! ~Katie

The ''dolphin'' tattoo looks good, maybe add a little color to it but the yin-yang ?
Maybe something else ?
(but thats my opinion)
Please remember, these tattoo's are for life so choose wisely including the artist doing them....
The method to remove them is either lazer surgery or peeling the skin back and ''scraping'' the ink off. Both leave scars afterwards.

Well I'm going to be honest. I think that they look very generic. I don't know you but I doubt that they will be all that meaningful to you in the future. I could be wrong I have a moon and stars that I still love today 7 years later.
I like the idea of the ying yang more than the dolphins. I like your color choice for the ying yang. I would chose that one as your first. It is simple enough that you could at more to it to make it more unique at a later date.

i personally wouldnt get either one of them. my bf told me a story not too long back about one of his friends telling him his girlfriend had dolphins tattooed on her lower back and he said at night it would look like she had eyebrows over her butt but you said you were going to get yours in that heart shape. i dont know if i would go for the steel blue and the grey it may be more prone to fade and i would get the yinyang on the inside of my ankle i really have no reason why i just like them better there

honestly you should go with the tattoo and the placement that you know you will be happy with. you should be 100% certain when you goto get it that it is what you truly want. you have to remember that a tattoo is forever and that if you get it in an area that will have to stretch at some point in time that the tattoo will also stretch and will look deformed.

you can always goto the tattoo parlors in your area to browse their selections. it can be a good idea to go when they are a bit busy so that you can watch them in action and see the finished products of some one else
