Why on earth would not having a stud available or not having looked online for dogs before make me a bad canidate for for breeding? I know a lot about animals, and have worked as a vet tech. If you don't know then don't answer. Thanks.

I spent half the morning on PetFinder and a couple other sites listing animal shelters in Louisiana,Alabama,Mississippi,Tenn. and Kentuky.
I own 2 gsds and am in search of another.
I was absolutely heartbroken to see that there are 7385 german shepherds listed in
these states.Granted most are mixed but I saw many many beautiful purebreds looking for a home.Please.Please spay your dog.
