If you're gonna be immature can you not waste your time. Yeah, mature people get zits. Woww. Thanks to the people who are answering helpfully! And also, I don't want to pop it 'cause I don't want to risk a scar. Thanks. God Bless. =))

I've been using cover up make-up but I believe that that may be making it worse because it isn't letting the pores breathe. So please don't put that as a solution.

A quick fix for a troubling big stubborn zit is wetting a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and holding the damp cotton on the zit for 30 seconds at a time for several times. Then place a piece of ice on it to reduce swelling for 10 seconds. Repeat this process several times a day if possible. The next day the zit should be much better.
As for popping..........I have done this after prepping with alcohol and follow by above application. I know many advise not too pop a zit, but in some cases, personally, it relieves the pressure of the bump and the alcohol dries the sore to heal it. Otherwise a stubborn one may take days to go away.

After years of experiencing the same thing I know what you're going through. Using concealers won't work and putting on more makeup won't work. Both of these just emphasize the pimple more. Also, don't squeeze it or put your fingers on it, It will just irritate it more. One effective way for it to dry up and heal fast is to dab some facial mask on it and let it dry for 10-15 minutes. It will draw out the oil or foreign substance to the surface. Then, after you gently wash it off your pimple, you can follow up with an OTC such as Clearasil, etc. You may need to repeat it the next day/night, too. It might look like the blemish is getting worse after the facial mask treatment but remember that masks draw impurities out of the pores.

Something else I've tried is finger nail polish remover. I know it sounds strange but it can be effective, too. I wouldn't make a habit of using it, though!

Good Luck

Let's see.....

I know of a few remedies; use whatever one you want, one at a time.

Neutrogena has a spot gel-it's called Rapid Clear. It's an acne eliminating spot gel. It should visibly reduce breakouts in approximately 8 hours. It might dry your skin out a little so use a small amount at a time, and use moisturizer with an SPF 30 or above when going out (they do exist, or just wear moisturizer and then sunscreen).

Neutrogena's oil-free acne wash works amazingly for preventing zits and breakouts, as does its Deep Clean Exfoliating Face Wash with Energizing Microbeads.

Windex seems to have skin-blemish-reducing components, but it is a very strong chemical, so don't use it unless it's your last resort.

Get an ice cube and put it on the zit, but only for about 10-15 seconds at a time (it'll burn, and I am sure that you don't want to burn and freeze your skin). Keep doing that off and on for about 5 min...then put some isopropyl alcohol on the spot. If you ice it twice a day, it should be gone in no time at all.

Good luck, and I hope that I helped!

Try using a little bit of Foundation over top of it on that day and hopfully it will help make it blend in with your skin more. It's good that you're using stridex face pads, that should help. To help keep breakouts from happening in the future buy Nutregena oil-free acne wash, it works like a dream.........hope it goes away!

Neutrogena has a spot gel it's called, Rapid Clear, acne eliminating spot gel. it visibly reduces breakouts in 8 hours. It might dry your skin out a little so use a small amount and if your going outdoors wear a moisturizer that has an SPF in it. I use this along when i get that one red zit that hurts and is obviously not going to get covered up my using make-up. I love it and it isn't as expensive as other products. good luck!!

ICE CUBE!

get an ice cube and put it on the zit, only like 10-15 seconds at a time (it'l burn, you dont want to burn-freeze your skin!), keep doing that off an on for about 5 min...then put some isopropyl alcohol on the spot....ice it 2x a day, it should be gone asap.

Don't pick at it---you might want to squeeze it, but that just prolongs the healing process. At this point, you dont have time to apply a hot pack to draw up the infection, clean it out, then ice it....just keep icing it off and on.

Definitely don't pop it. Cover up will clog the pores. When that happens to me I wash me face then, get a warm cloth on sit it on my face for like a minute or two. to open the pores then put sea-breeze or rubbing alcohol on it. It works really good. Toothpaste works too!

Don't touch your face or eat a lot of sugar to prevent. Try using products like Clear&Clean or try Proactive trust me I've tried this all the time and it works all the time.

If you don't but products just try to wash your face with soap and have a shower more than once daily!
