just afew points:

try to feed her whatever she was eating before you got her. If you want to change the food, do it gradually (start off with 75% of her original food and 25% of what you want to change to, then 50/50, then 25/75, then 100%)

Make sure she always has plenty on fresh water, change the water at least once a day even if it doesn't look dirty. Cat milk can be given as a treat but make sure it is cat milk and not human milk (most cats are lactose intolerant and human milk can give them a dodgy tummy)

She will probably be abit scared when you first bring her home, give her time to adjust. Just keep her in one room (with her food/water/litter box) for a while whilst she settles in. If she wans to runaway and hide when you try to stroke her, let her. She will come out when she's ready.

Make sure she has plenty of toys to keep her occupied, especially if she will be on her own (i.e. whilst you go out to work or whatever). They don't have to be expensive, one of my kittens favourite toys is a piece of string with a bell on, tied to the back of a chair lol)

Clean out the solids of her litter at least once a day (more if necessary) and change the whole litter every few days, (don't forget, normal cleaning products may not be suitable for cats, so don't clean the litter tray with flash - get a special cleaner from the pet store).

If you decide to let her out (after she has been fixed obviously), get a lead. Take her out around the outside of your house afew time so she can get used to the smell/layout so she will be more likely to know how to get back.

Don't forget her vaccinations for feline diseases/tables for worms and to get her fixed (normally done around 6 months) and pet insurance!

I'm sure there are hundreds of other things that i can't think of right now but the most important thing is to love her. Give her plenty of TLC but also let her have her own space where she can go if she wants to chill/is tired. Love her and i'm sure she'll love you back.

Good luck :)

Before you get your kitten make sure you have 2 bowls, one for water and one for food. Buy a litterbox and fill it with litter. At first only feed your kitten hard food and water. Milk is not good for kittens because it can hurt their stomachs. If your house is large you might want to consider a big cage that you can fit the litterbox in for at night when you can't supervise it. Cats love toys with strings and they love to chase the beam of flashlights. I wouldn't get the kitten a bed. They like to lay on random things like a messed up bed or in your piled laundry. Pretty much just play with it, feed it, and clean out it's litter..oh yeah..and buy yourself a lint brush =)

well before you get her make sure you have all you'll need
like a litter box, litter, kitten food (but make sure its not the brand that is calling it back), toys, bowls, a kitty bed, and other stuff you think she will need. oh and if she is still small you might consider wanting to buy kitty formala so you can mix it with the dry food

Please get her a collar with your name or phone number on it. We had a sweet little gray kitten that got lost just before Christmas.
But yes, you will need food, a litter box and litter, someplace safe and warm for her to sleep, a feeding tray for food, milk, and water.

you also need a small rom to first put her in if you put them in a huge open house kitty can get hurt/scared you also need to kitty proof the room cover electric socets and things that could fall on her/ him need to be moved kitty will also have a few "accsidents" before kitty gets used to useing a litter box never get mad at kitty when he/she has an acsident because he/she didnt know and cats have a nateral attraction to litter boxes so she/he will catch on quickly
