Gee what an original idea! (NOT!) That accusation was made by the Jews AND the pagans of the first century. No, it's not. But since you're really not interested enough to read the truth for yourself, that's as much as I'm saying on it.

Sure sounds like it, but be forewarned your question is about to create a lot of noise. The source of the noise will be all the verbal tap dancing you will hear telling you that it's not.
The interesting thing is if you put that question on a reading comprehension test for say a 10 year old kid , that kid would have a wrong answer if he said no it doesn't mean cannibalism.

no cannibalism is where you eat someone who is like you. Jesus is not like us after his Resurrection he is glorified. We eat his glorified body and blood and whereas food in this world becomes a part of us, in Holy Communion, we become a part of him. It is the ultimate consummation of a marriage. This is why the Evil one loves to tempt people into obscene acts of sexual deprivation to mock the Holiness of this.

Cannibalism or not, Jesus said to do it, so I do it.

"After this many of his disciples drew back and no longer went about with him. Jesus said to the twelve, 'Do you also wish to go away?' Simon Peter answered him, 'Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life; and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.'" -- John 6:66-69

That depends on how you understand the Eucharist, doesn't it? If it is either on the one hand undergirded by metaphysics of substance and accidents, or on the other hand a metaphysics of symbolism, then the answer is probably "No."

You interpeted that the wrong way! When people read the Bible, they can get different views on things! That's why the Bible is a very complicated book!
