Oh Yes!! And I'm equally disturbed by the bad training advice. People being told to do things that will cause problems rather than fix them. Honestly, there are professional dog trainers on this forum. Whether the methods are Positive Reinforcement or old fashioned pop and jerk, at least the trainers have the background to give decent advice.

Truthfully I remain surprised by how many folks ask questions and accept what may be accurate OR inaccurate replies from strangers, rather than take a few minutes to do their own web searches and find facts. I can see this for opinion questions or fun stuff, but not the biggies.
But that said, I would rather folks at least ask here than just not ask at all. To me that ignorance is even more horrifying. This way at least maybe some real info will trickle down. But I do agree it is a legit concern, not only in the area you specified (but I sure can see why that is an important one!), but across the board.

I quite have not…yet. yet I quite have had violations for stupid issues. and that i've got in no way had any valuable result from alluring. So I in basic terms attempt my perfect to be careful. I too have seen people insult hunters and gun proprietors with harsh words and escape with it. yet oh no don’t observe your question incorrect or the hammer comes down! mutually as I comprehend it extremely is their ball interest and that they call the photos, I too see the prejudice concepts-set that some YA workers have. Why as an occasion can some communicate approximately unwell perverted issues in sexually specific element that young ones can study and not have that got rid of? in fact i replaced into taken aback and appalled at some issues i discovered on solutions! Albeit they used smart spelling to assert those issues yet wow! i will do my perfect to stay with the YA instruction as I relish discovering from others right here. That mentioned it ought to no longer be long before Microsoft takes over and lays off a great style of YA group. i think of it’s wonderful that a organisation might create a communicate board for the time-honored public and not have a impartial point of view on evaluations.

Yes, it is horrible. All of these people breeding their dogs irresponsibly and adding more dogs to our already overpopulated country while thousands of dogs are euthanized in the shelters every day.
For every human baby born, there are TEN dogs born.
Every day in California alone, an average of 2,000 dogs are euthanized in the shelters.
For every dog a backyard or puppy mill breeder sells, that dog takes the place of the homeless shelter dog sitting in his cold cell, awaiting his terrible fate to be put to sleep, all because someone HAD to breed their dog.
Another sigh...

I agree with you 100%. The same thing is happening over on the bird board. Unfortunately for the animals, many will die because of improper advice and little to no real knowledge or vet care.

I am not as much horrified on the number of question they ask I am more horrified of the answer people give them..Give them a little credit at least they are asking the question. I would love to ask the people who yells about these questions. Like how many dogs do they have, how many are spayed or neutered. How old are they.. I agree some questions are common sense, but let me ask you this..What about the questions on What do I name my dog, What kind of dog should I get, Should I let my dog watch me having sex. What about questions about their dogs and illness. Common sense says take your dog to the vets and not to mention the Chocolate Question. You take note on how many people answers the stupid questions and how many answers a good question. You want to be horrified on something... how about these stupid questions these people ask over and over and over again.
I rather answer the question than have them do something wrong. At least they aren't asking what kind of dog should I get.. My dog is dieing what should I do...People leaving their dogs in crates for 8 hours a day.. I can go on and on here.

You are absolutely right. But if the breeding is done responsibly and not for selling purposes (to have a puppy from your special dog and to share the litter with responsible relatives and friends) it can be so rewarding! I have bred Maltese and when they are bred at home they are the sweetest little dogs, as opposed to purchased pets who, I found tend to be less amicable.

Welcome to our world!
It gets sad watching the level of stupidity of the Moron League Members and their roving bands of Trolls. They constantly ask stupid questions. They are also so proud of their $1000 designer breed mutts and they report those of us with common sense for being mean.
There are those who have real questions, or just want someone to nudge them in the right direction. I don't mind helping them. However, seeing the same questions time after time wears on me. Especially when you know they won't take your advice.

Yes and not only that, but people who ask questions that only a veterinarian can probably answer correctly. I hate people who are relying on strangers to help them with serious problems while their poor animal suffers.
