I'm trying to help out my best friend. Clearly, she is doing something wrong by allowing her daughter to poop in a diaper (brings her a diaper when she has to poop instead of making her go in a toilet). I am concerned about her daughter and the mixed signals it is sending my 3 year old child. Any advice?

I had a sister-in-law who would not potty train her son and he was in diapers until he was about 5. My opinion it is just lazy There are on long term effects just her having to clean the girl up. The baby could develope a real bad diaper rash or even a yeast infection then she will have a problem. MY advisce to you is just keep you child away from them as much as possiable.

your friend is lazy.no 5 yr old should be In a diaper that is sick, the child will start school soon then what?? She needs to tell the child if you don;t poop in your pants today... and give a reward. the more rewards she gets she should get tired of sitting in poop

Well, according to Freud, there are MAJOR long term pyschological effects of poor potty training. This kid is likely to be anal retentative her whole life......
