Looks are attractive, but personalities are more attractive. Personality is what keeps a relationship together. Get to know that person enough to know if a relationship will work. Good Luck.

Depends on you.
If you are only concerned with the outside package, then looks would have to be the number one thing. But that package includes, insecurity, jealousy, and always wondering what they ever saw in you.
But if you are looking for a long-term relationship, one that will last, then you definitely should consider personality the most important. You want someone you can talk to, get along with, and who will make you feel on top of the world.

in a bf or gf? its better to choose for those who has a good personality. because when you are in a relationship or serious relationship rather, it would not be all about going out and showing off your partner to the people, its a matter of you two dealing with eachother. looks,can just fade away especially when your partner has a bad personality.

It depends what you want in a relationship.
Is this a relationship with the hope that it will progress to a more serious relationship, possibly toward marriage? If that's the case, no question - personality. Looks fade. Personality remains.
On the other hand, if you are looking for someone to hang out with and be a regular distraction...looks.

Personality is much more important. Although it may seem as though at first that looks are more important, and looks ARE important as well, but they aren't as important as personality. To truly enjoy a nice relationship with a guy, you need to like his personality, not just his looks.

I would prefer a balance between a personality and look but Personality would have the upper hand ... what is the use of having a copy of Tom Cruise in my place with an empty mind and no reactions whatever! If so, I would apologize to Tom and prefer to have a trip in the jungle with my favourite smart Ghorilla :)

everyone WANTS to say personality, but we all know looks play some sort of role when we like someone. Yet looks are what gets you to the first level, personality is what makes you be able to spend the rest of your life with a person. so personality-SOO important. Looks-i really REALLY great bonus!

That being said, all humans (even the ones who say they don't), want to be able to be with someone they are also PHYSICALLY attracted to. So, if I had a choice of the most attractive of men, but he didn't treat people well, and a man with perhaps not the most attractive physique but he was warm and kind and had love to give, I'd definitely lose the hottie!

Looks get my attention, but personality (or better yet, character) is required to hold it. I demand a certain amount of intelligence and charm in any woman whom I'm going to have a real relationship with. A woman who can offer nothing but looks is good for nothing more than casual sex -- and, if she's boorish enough, not even that.
