I dated a girl in high school but we broke up. We got back together after two years, and after a while I asked her to marry me. She said yes.
Is it common for this to work out??

Why not?! If you guys were high school sweethearts, it does work out sometimes. My mom's friend, she's known her since elementry school. Well her friend had a boyfriend in high school, and after they graduated they got married before college even!
They're still together after 40 something years!
It's definatly possible =)

Yes its fine. But when you asked her to marry you, did you get to know her long enough before you decided to marry her? If you just went back together and asked her right away, its likely the marriage will fail fast because you rush into things way too fast without taking the time to consider things. And are you ready for life married life? Its more than just two people who love each other, you both need to have money to pay your bills once you guys are going to live alone.
But if you feel like she's the one for you and ready for the married life, good luck on your wedding. And hopefully your marriage will last long.

I think would be. You and this girl had a connection in high school and the connection is still there. Not everybody changes after high school.
