Please do a Yahoo or Google search on "Theron Randolph" and read about his findings. See if you can find a copy of his book, "An Alternative Approach to Allergies". Food or chemical allergies can cause mental illness and mood swings, including sham rage, and incapacitating headaches. Some people have a cerebral (head) reaction to allergies - although some doctors label this as food "sensitivities".
Either way, it's much better to learn how to stop the symptoms than to take more pills trying to control them.
She may be "allergic" to, most likely, a protein that she eats very often, makes her feel better to start with, but then when it wears off, she has the symptoms, and eating a tiny bit more makes it better. like withdrawal.

I believe everyone should be tested for this kind of allergy, and there would be a lot fewer people in mental wards and also in prisons.

They can do skin testing, or a RAST test, where blood is drawn and sent off for testing. It's hard to be around a person with these problems, but it's harder to be the person living with it.
