You will be happy whereever you choose to be happy. You have to go out and seek it as it will not come knocking at your door.
Georgia, like anywhere else, has its plusses and minuses and much of it depends on what you are seeking. Each region offers its own culture. The arts are varied and rich throughout the state and have a rich history. The music is wonderful.
I would recommend living north of the gnat line. Whenever the weather is nice, the gnats are out down here in Savannah. I would recommend not living right in Atlanta due to the gridlock.
Whereever you live, get involved. Give all people a chance. Try to get to know them and let them know you. Try to live in a place where you have a reasonable commute. It will make a difference in your happiness and quality of life.

That all depends on what kind of life you want. Doesnt matter where you move too. You make your life what you want it to be. Georgia is a great place to live.
