Check the ground connection, make sure you're not running a lower impedance total than the amplifier is rated for, check that your speaker wiring isn't shorted anywhere, and make sure you don't have it connected to a blown speaker.

It really depends on the amp, speakers, size of the power wire and fusing. Without any of that, it's kinda hard to answer the question.

Your loading the amp with too low of an impedance.

it is 1 of 2 things check grounds on head unit amp or battery or #2 check power turn on or remote to the amp if that does not fix it ur amp has burn the idiot dioe out in the amp; needs 2 be replaced and possibly burned transistors, sorry man i tried but i think ur amp is screwed.

check your earth connection is making good contact and check your speaker leads are not getting crossed
