You are standing in the middle of a room. There are two doors, opposite each other, leading out of the room. Those two doors are the ONLY way out. One of the doors leads to certain death, and the other door leads to freedom. You have NO IDEA which door is which.
Standing in front of each of the doors is a Guard. One of the Guards is a Liar; everything out of his mouth is always a lie. The other Guard is a Truth-teller; everything he says is always the truth. However, you have NO IDEA which Guard is which.
You are given ONE QUESTION to ask to ONE GUARD to find the door to freedom. What do you ask?
(Remember, you DO NOT KNOW which Guard is which or which door is which.)

Note: The liar is not neccessarily in front of the door to death and vica versa. Either Guard could be in front of either door.

Ask either guard "which door would the other guard tell me to take"" and then when he answers, just take the opposite door.
