yes at every turn. That is why if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Yes, of course.

But since you have no way of knowing if there is or not, you are committing a form of psychological abuse every time you warn people of this false fear.

Edit: To Daisymae,
Why not take the chance right now and warn people that the great ju-ju at the bottom of the sea may torment you in his terrible whirlpool forever if you do not do the following: Only marry blonds, be sure to only live from a diet of potatoes and lima beans, warn people to stay away from other beliefs, defend yours to the death when necessary and claim you know all of this because I have given you the word through my divine inspiration?

You are in no more of a position to know what I said is the truth or not (or of any other religious/faith based claim) than you are claims about hell. Yet religious people continue to frighten children with their stories about monsters, and divide the world into warring factions all over something they pretend to know when they can not.

To some people this place exists.

Of course, to other people, fuzzy talking pink bunnies also exist.

Hell is rooted in only a certain branch of religions, it is not a wide spread belief throughout the world. And it can not be proven to be real. In fact there is mass disagreement as to where this place actually is, what it entails and who actually ends up there.

So no - I'm not really interested in hearing about hell. You may believe it exists, and that is your own burden.

I know of two places called Hell. One in Norway, one in Michigan. I don't think either of them are so frightening as to require warnings.

It would depend on what definition you are using. I believe in Hell being the common grave for mankind. So you wouldn't need to warn me. I'm well aware that we are all going do die one day.

In hell everybody has worms.

They burn and rot forever.

There is barely standing room in Hell, and everybody tries to find a place to squat or crouch.

They shriek, they gargle their own blood and vomit, they moan angrily. These things they do minute by minute, and hour by hour.

They suffer painful farts. They itch and can't scratch...

Yes for sure....and this is what our beloved prophet warned us about...and all the prophet before him....He told us (PBUH):
We will be saved only if we belive ther is only One God who deserve (alone) all types of worships...otherwise ther will be a place in the hellfire for the non-belivers...
trust me on this...
