They have reduced rates, use their dental students to work on people with financial difficulty. Many people with problems like yours get seen and treated. You should defenitely see your dentist. If the pain is in your jaw you could have an infection that will cause bone loss. If you get bone loss in your jaw your teeth will not anchor properly and you could lose them. Make an appointment as soon as possible. Good luck

this is called gingivetis and if the gums is sweels more it will go gingivectomy if the swelling is small it will be scaled from calculus so it debend on the diagnosis of the dentist

Maybe you have some food stuck in there try flossing and a water pick, also rise with peroxide.
And do not eat for a few hours after you have done this.
