Darn. I can't come, but I'll contribute by giving you my recipe for the world's most decadent chocolate sauce. It's super simple.
To a dry measure of very good quality semi-sweet dark chocolate (shaved or grated), add
An equal liquid measure GOOD Cabernet Sauvignon. Place in the top of a scrupulously clean double boiler, over steaming (but not simmering) water.
Stir with an absolutely clean steel wire whip or whisk, until smooth and glossy. At this point you MAY add a pinch of salt and a little pure vanilla extract or other flavoring, if your taste runs that way. I wouldn't, though.
If this is too thick for your purpose (it's perfect for dipping, but a little thick for pouring), add more cab sav, a tablespoon at a time, until the sauce is the consistency you wish. If it is too thin, add more grated chocolate, a tablespoon at a time, making sure that it's completely melted with each addition, until it is the consistency you want.
Keep warm, on a hot place turned to low.

Also where you aware that British retailer Tesco is branching out to target Islamic consumers by launching a range of halal chocolate?....
....rrrrhhhh...what is wrong with me? Please don't kick me out of the chocolate gathering...my friends will just laugh at me.
