We have all sinned and fallen short of God's standard.

If you will repent of your sin, and ask God to forgive you, you will become a new creation the Bible says. You will have your slate wiped clean.

Christ receives sinful men
Even me with all my sin
Purged from every spot and stain
Heaven with Him, I'll enter in

All religious teachers and prophets go to the sinful people and try to bring them to the right path. And so did Jesus.

It is good that you've precised "repent" which means not commit the same sin again. As many believe only to believe in Jesus as the saviour is enough TO BE SAVED!

It is as if they rejoiced to see that big statues nailed inside and outside of catholic churches as he has paid for our sins.

A believer is one who progress in his faith not one who misuses faith and progress in sins.

Absolutely, because we are all born sinners who require salvation, but it is very important to remember that repentance isn't simply a half-hearted apology to God; it must be heartfelt and it is key that we not only say (and mean) that we are sorry for our sins but we must also turn away from them.

we are not short of anyone's standards but our own.

I thought Christians belive God is all-powerful. Why do you then believe anything we do is against God? Free will exists only within the boundries of God's world, anyways. The real stuff God doesn't want you to do are against Natural Laws and the Laws of Physics.

Relax. You aren't as bad as you think you are.

"Not every one that saith unto me 'Lord Lord' will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that doeth the will of my father which is in Heaven."

Does that sound like he receives sinners?
