As for the actual question, it depends on when someone pinpoints the beginning of human life. Some people might say it is when the egg and sperm meet; others declare that human life only starts when a baby is physically born. If you pinpoint the start as the former, then you'll obvious be against all abortion. If you pinpoint it as the latter, then you are pro-choice for all abortion. (This opinion is often affected hugely by the religious convictions of the person in question.)

Personally, I think that human life begins when the celebral cortex is fully formed, which occurs in the sixth month. This part of the brain allows for emotion to be felt by the fetus, which is a trait that I think is hugely involved in making someone "human." As for the pain debate, it has been shown that the nervous system of the fetus is too disjointed to ever allow it to feel pain while it is in the mother. So, I'm pro-choice 'til the sixth month, since I think abortion after that is murder.

From a personal point of view, yes. BUT!!! Abortions should be allowed only in extreme cases where it only could result in a medical problem wich could lead to death. If someone fall pregnant and just want to get rid of the baby, then it is murder, but if health hazzards occur, then it should be conciddered.

Pro life is murder. Each time a fetus is "saved" it leads to the death of 12 loved and wanted children. There may be a question if a fetus is life, but it is clear that killing a child is murder. And the resources required to save a fetus could better be used to save a child. So pro life is mass murder --- and that is a fact..................

i know im not in the majority with most atheists but i do feel it is murder. laws are designed to protect humans from other humans. the definition of a human can best be described by their genetic code. the fetus has a human genetic fingerprint as soon as it becomes a zygote, thus abortion at virtually any point in pregnancy is technically murder.

although i do support abortion in cases of rape, incest, and difficulties that can kill the mother

How about this - if abortion is murder, then denying teens access and information regarding contraception is just plain ignorance.

While there are many arguments about the "ends justifying the means," any sane person would acknowlege that our teen pregnancy rate is the highest on the planet, and that it would only make sense to take effective steps to reduce those pregnancies, and by so doing, also reduce needless abortions.

I am thankful that my biological mother thought so. I was given up for adoption before the baby killing thing become so fashionable.
