there is no single best brand. the proper dosage and timing of nutrients is far more important than what brand is on the label. and with out a sound diet of whole foods most supplements are worthless.

Try Sustacal. It comes in pudding & drink form. It's packed with calories,etc. The elderly drink this when they need added nutrution. Sustacal is also available for children too. It's pricy but nutritious.
