Although Barrera is one of my all time favorites, he's been in one too many wars. Marquez, possibly a knockout win.
Thanks for the question. Good luck.

Juan Manuel Marquez is nearer to his top than Marco Antonio Barrera. I %. Juan in a clearcut 12 rd unanimous selection. he's merely too slick a counterpuncher and too sturdy for Marco at this factor. If he gets Manny lower back he knocks him out this time. Manny is psychologically the underdog as he's well-known with Marquez deserved the alternative the 1st bypass around.

I look for a terrific battle tonight and my gut feeling is that it's just Marquez's time. Barrera has been a great fighter but his career is winding down and Marquez is very hungry. He's been sort of living in the shadow of Barrera and Erik Morrales and he knows this is his moment of glory if he can win tonight, so he'll be highly motivated and i look for him to win a unanimous decision over a proud warrior in Barrera who will fight to the end, but i think it's just Juan Manuel's time.

I respectfully disagree with Mr. Santana D. I agree that Barrera has been in many wars, but I don't think that he's done. Although, he lost spark in the ring and is most probably unable to slug it out, he can still, nevertheless, box his opponent. I think Barrera will play it safe in this bout, which may prove to be average. Barrera has the edge in defense, stamina, and chin. Marquez has the slight edge in power. I think they will be equal in stamina.
In the early rounds, I can see both men feeling each other out. I think it will be close. In the middle rounds, I think Marquez will start to be the aggressor. Barrera will counter Marquez and circle on him throwing jabs. I think Barrera will take most of the middle rounds. In the later rounds, I think Marquez will try going for the knockout, but I think Barrera will be smart enough not to engage him. Ultimately, I think Barrera will take the bout via a unanimous decision.

I would go for Marquez. Common opponent would be Manny Pacquiao. But its a 50-50 situation. Both are great boxers. Whoever gets caught by a punch or a combo will be the loser.

Bro go for Barrera because he is way to smart and good, the fight with manny he had brain surgery n didnt have proper traing but barrera could have won if he was100% marquez is stronger but slower wich means bad defense ,they both have awsome chins they are mexican, barrera been toe to toe and has outsmarted the best Prince, morales, and his perfect kinda boring fight against ROCKY JUAREZ good fight n could be close but the edge goes to BARRERA he is also a awsome counter puncher
