gaining extra weight at pregnancy is a natural phenomina. Yours normal weight + weight of baby + weight of embryonic fluids are all causes over weight. But not 40 pounds, even after delivery. If you are breast feeding your baby, then you do normal and simple exercises at home, cut intake of fat in any form (oil, butter, sugar, red meat , chocolates etc.,). If you are not feeding then go for a long walk, regularly. Keep in mind that you have delivered only 5 months back. Internal organs takes some time to settle after delivery.

ive tried it also to get rid of like a lil pinch of fat tht i had on my stomach and it actually worked doing crunches and push-ups helps alot because it tightens ur waist and flats out the stomach and if you try this drink lot of water so u dont get tired and after you do these exercises dont sit keep standing with your hands above your head for atleast 2 minutes because thatll even out the blood when it rushes through ur body while u exercised if you sit the exercise you did will not do anything and your fat will stay in the same place as it was before it needs to move through ur body to make it self sweat out of ur body ok try it i did and it worked for me and i still do it so good luck and if u want drink tea it helps lose weight and helps the brain good luck

You can lose that fat by cutting out white flour products ( bread, pasta, pancakes, waffles) and still eat good. when you go to Micky D's trash the bun. I did it and lost 28 lbs in 180 days GL.

u really can't lose weight in one area. considering I've had a baby u gained a little weight. i would just consume fewer calories a day and do a little training with Ur mid section. i would do 30 minutes of cardio and consume fewer calories and it would speed up the weight loss.

Just watch what you eat, low calories and maybe once or twice a week try some cardio workout if possible. Once you lose it it's easier to keep off. Good luck!
