He is 14 and wants his room re done....whats in but less expensive and and great ideas?

paint it and leave one wall for his friends to autograph, to write funny [not dirty] sayings on,
he can get his favorite photo really enlarged they can do them really hugh, i think almost life size, and hang it on his wall too. my son has lots of neon lights,
some are not expensive.

He should paint his room his favorite color, and cover the walls with posters. A very inexpensive way to decorate. Also put up a shelf for his collectibles and things he treasures.

paint it, that will be a major change....fix it up with some cool posters and stuff like that too. a good cleaning will do wonders for the room, you'd be happy to see the change after cleaning up!

paint it clean out it and move everything around in it it will make it look totally different good luck!!
