I think he is a sore loser.

He might have gotten some respect if he had taken the ministry seat and groomed for the next election, instead of doing what he did.

He seems like a grandstander, although he may be sincere. I didn't follow him until the campaign.

Surely, though, SOMEONE needs to get in power there and put in universal free education for your poor. If only so they will stop coming here illegally, trying to take it from our own children.

I think it's a very good thing for Mexico that he didn't win. His actions after the election have caused him to lose a lot of his parties support. He has his fanatic followers who still believe that Obrador will lead them to the good life and they keep falling for his line of bull. What he wants is power. That's it.

I don't know really, I only wanted him running Mexico because Bush backed Calderon and I usually won't support anyone who is backed by our "president".

Those last 2 answerers are pretty ignorant about the issue of immigration anyway, regardless of the fact that many Mexican people who cross the borders have a work visa and return back after they're done for the day. All in all, they come for a better life...not that the current know nothing movement cares.

He won the Presidency in Mexico by Democracy. He is the real winner, but Calderon was pointed by Bush to be his partner..... you know....
