A cycle is every 28 days, after your cycle ends you count up to the13th,14th, and 15th day, on these days YOU DO NOT HAVE SEX BECAUSE YOU ARE FERTILE, now any time before this and any time after this, it is safe. I went to UCLA MEDICAL CENTER to become pregnant, and this is what was told to me to become pregnant,so now you know how you can become pregnant and how not to become pregnant. I used this also to space out my children, they are 4 years apart.I hope this helps. There is one more thing you can use to make it really safe CONDOMS.

Ovulation typically occurs 2 weeks after menstruation, so right before, during, and right after are typically the safest if you mean safe to not get pregnant. However, ovulation could occur at any time, so always use contraception. The "rhythm cycle" of pregnancy avoidance would say it's safe one week before, during, and one week after menstr. cycle. However, that has been used by Catholics for many, many years, and look how many Catholics there are!! lmao...

approximately 10 days after your first day of your period your egg is released and stay alive for a couple days....sperm can also stay alive for a couple days. There has also been recent evidence that some women can release twice over their cycle. I would recommend a condom if you do not want to be pregnant. It really is an individual thing that can not be pinpointed as a general answer.

Definitely not right before your period, that's the time when your are most fertile!!

Right after your period would be your best bet, but the rhythm method is notoriously unreliable, especially if you have irregular cycles. Better to use a condom or to do "other" things in bed until you're ready to have kids.

i would NEVER rely on the time of the month to prevent pregnancy. its completely unreliable, you can get pregnant at ANY time of the month, some times its very unlikely, sometimes its likely. it can vary from month to month, and if your not perfectly regular THIS IS A CRAPPY SYSTEM! if you dont want to use a condom (only do this if your confident in the sexual health of you and your partner) then go on the pill, then you can have as much babyless sex as you like!

if you are on the pill or using a condom, you can have sex anytime and limit your chances of getting pregnant. if your not using that condom, you could end up with something worse than a kid. so in answer to your question, there is no safe time to have sex.

you can get an ovulation test at any of the drug stores, and this will tell you when your chances are best at getting pregnant.
