When a cat is having kittens she wants a quiet place to have her kittens. Place her in a box with a towel ( don't use a good one) leave her alone. If you can create a cave type area where she doesn't see everyone around then she will feel safe. Check on her by yourself once in awhile if she needs help she will cry loudly. I have birth 13 litters this past year. Each cat is different. One mother gave birth during the night and needed no help, one cat had a large kitten who was breech, so I covered the kitten with a clean rag and pulled to help. If you have any problems call the vets office they can tell you what to do. But most cats know just what to do. Good Luck!!

Ok so first calm down as much as you can. Then let the cat find a place to do it. Make sure that she has a nce place. When the babies come dont pet them and let the mom do everything unless something goes wrong like he baby gets stuck or the mom dose not open the sack after 5 minutes. Then leave the cat alone after all her kids are out. I dont think that you need to see a vet until the kittens are older though unless anything goes wrong like a kitten wont eat and the mother wont suckle. I hope that you have many happy years with your cats!

if your cat is having babys it is all ok just make sure she is in a nice quite place put a bok in a room were she can settle in and give her a dish of watter and a lil food if she needs it she will go to it most cats dont eat but will need water and it can be seaveral hours befor she has them all . just keep an eye on her so she dont seam to be strugling to much if so call a vet but most cats are good and have no trubbles but some may need astance . if it is the first litter they are usualy small .and some may be born dead and some may die after birth it is happend with my cat . if she is had litters befor she will most likely have more this litter . just give her a box with an old but clean towl and keep an eye on her .but keep her in a nice comfy quiet place away from children ... good luck let me know how it goses ...TA

Leave her alone-she would like to have her privacy!!!! I'm a vet tech and cats usually have no problem having the kittens. DO NOT call the emergency hospital like one person said unless there is a kitten stuck in the canal. Cats are pro's at this, just check on her every now and then and leave her to herself in a quiet place. My cat just had kittens 2 weeks ago. No problem! Good Luck!!

Most likely she has already decided where she wants to give birth to her kittens many days ago. Leave her where she is comfortable. You can make a better spot for her but don't be surprised if she doesn't use it. What to do depends on your cat - some want to be left alone but most tame cats like to have you there with them - talking soothingly to them and giving them a pet or two on their head - especially if this is her first batch. It is a wonder thing to witness - enjoy.

if you're worried and it's her first litter call an emergency vet as soon as you can, if not possible, get clean sheets and let the cat lay on them,if she wants to, IF AND ONLY IF she lets you touch her then pet her, calm her down and rub her belly very softly, she'll do all the work, when the kittens come out don't touch them until she has licked them, she needs those nutrients, then wrap them on a very clean cloth, make sure not to touch them with your hands ever! and put them to rest, as soon as you can call a doctor to come and check the cat and kittens... i hope i helped you!

If your cat is having babies let nature take it's course, give her a nice warm, quiet place & have kids & whatever leave her along.
