ok, myhair is short with loose curls. I'm fair with pink undertones and I have green eyes. MY natural hair colour is dark brown. I want some dark auburn but the one that has copper on it ( not the one that ends up looking purple ewww) My eye brows r darkish brown so i dont want to look weird

Definately go for a semi-permanent if you are doing it yourself, and go for a natural medium or natural light auburn, or a natural warm auburn they all contain gold and red hues which will suit your skin tone. Stay away from the dark ones, as they contain the more purply hues that you are rightly keen to avoid for your complexion.

If you are worried about looking funny and you aren't sure...
Take a triangle section ( or a star section ) on the top of your head and color that your new color. You will still have your natural color surrounding your face!

then don't use the store brands. you can't trust those charts. color formulation is not 'that' simple. see a stylist, look at some swatches and go for it ! Good luck !

trust me, blond with pink highlights are the answer. leave brown behind, and throw yourself into the world of blonde.
