I asked him and his friend out (as a group),but he said hes got a lot of work to do and hes got to hang out at his friends party.

I'd cool it and let him come to you to see if he does...if he does then good for you if he doesn't then he is not interested in you.....

Ask him if he'd rather have you or his buddies. Make him make a choice! A lot of guys choose the girl.
