If you like the woman, the fact that she has a child shouldn't make any difference. But if you don't like little kids, then don't date her as it would be unfair to her because her child is very important to her, and you cannot expect her to put you first in her life, it would be a sharing experience. If you are a selfish type, don't bother, as this type of relationship would not be good for you. But you know, if you are in your late 20's or early 30's, why not. My son married a young widow with a 3 year old daughter and they are the happiest couple and now have their own little girl..so it depends on where you are at in your life. My son is 38 so he is an older father and enjoys fatherhood so much. Good Luck

I met a woman with a 9 yr old and a 3 yr old. Its been a yr and she now has a 2 mo old... MINE!!
You can find happiness with a single mother. Her children are not the mistakes, neither was the relationship. Every situation is a growing process that should make you stronger and more sure of yourself. Her child is living proof of her extension. Both women AND children are beautiful things, don't think of it as having baggage. As long as she is good to you and turns out right for you, go for it!!

If i were a guy i would say yes...why not date a women with a child? Some ppl clasify that as "baggage" and don't want any part of it. She's human to you know...and has needs, wants a relationship with someone stable and good with her child. Just because she has a child doesn't mean she should have no relationship* Obviously the relationship she had when child was born, didn't work out so she's moved on to being a single mom.......but yes.....to your answer*

What really matters that you like that person regardless if she has a child. My g/f has 2 children from two different men. When I met her, she already had 2 of her very own. Now, we're expecting another one.

Yes, If I thought there was potential to develop into something more I would. If you couldn't see yourself with her I wouldn't because that little toddler person could get attached to you easily.

think of it this way if you had a baby would you still want a woman to date you.i dated a man with two kids and i also have two kids and his one son was not a toddler he was 6

i did.when my girlfriend and i first met,she had a daughter that wasnt quiet 2 yrs old,and we been togeather now for 7 yrs.
